Parkland Smile Dental is located at 320 138th St., Unit S in Tacoma, WA, close to Pacific Lutheran University. We are on the corner of 138th St. and C St. in a blue standalone office with plenty of free parking.

Andrew H. Lee, DDS, FAGD, FICOI

Dr. Andrew Lee is a native of Washington State and grew up in the Tacoma area and the Tri-Cities. Graduating with honors in implant dentistry, Dr. Lee furthered his education by completing a hospital-based residency in the San Francisco Bay Area rotating through the VA Palo Alto, Stanford University Medical Center, and Highland Alameda County Hospital.

He has traveled overseas to multiple dental mission trips to help the locals without access to dental care. Through these experiences, Dr. Lee has had the privilege of treating people from all backgrounds and with varying dental needs including the medically complex.

Dr. Lee has earned fellowship within the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Lee loves dentistry as it is an continual pursuit to learn and better serve his patients. Dr. Lee’s special interests include full mouth rehabilitation, “All on X” full arch implant surgeries and cosmetic smile enhancing procedures.

Dr. Lee believes the most valuable impact a dentist can provide his patients is on how to prevent dental problems in the future. The goal is to maintain a healthy mouth as part of your overall health to keep you smiling, laughing, and eating comfortably.

When Dr. Lee is not thinking dentistry, he spends much of his time with his beautiful wife and daughter. When he can find time, he enjoys traveling and some scuba diving. He also enjoys participating in autocross and track events at the local road courses.

Wai Shan Chiu, DDS

Dr. Wai Shan Chiu was born and raised in Hong Kong. Dr. Chiu moved to the Seattle, WA, in 2002 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington. Following her undergraduate studies, she continued at the UW to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Chiu enjoys working with patients and improving their oral health through education and the prevention of dental disease. She had a wonderful experience providing dental sealants to children to prevent cavities when she was on a mission trip in Haiti.

Dr. Chiu’s dental interests focus on restorative dentistry and botox cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Chiu enjoys good food, scary movies and traveling. She loves classical music and enjoys playing the violin, her favorite stringed instrument.
